GCSE Results Day 2026

I’m delighted to report a superb set of GCSE results for Nunnery Wood High School students. The school has been hugely successful against all performance measures and most important of all, seen superb successes for individual students who have inspired us once again with their hard work and achievement.

Particular highlights include 74% of students getting a grade 4 in both Maths and English and 57% getting a 5 or higher in both. Not only are these significantly above national averages, they include a range of individual triumphs including those getting the top grade of 9 and those who have overcome considerable challenges to succeed. For many it will be the other subjects that open careers – Art, Design and Technology and Computer Science – and grades in these continue to surpass national levels in all areas.

Alongside the many enrichment and careers activities our students experience, these results give them every opportunity to move ahead with their lives with confidence and pride. They do so with our respect and best wishes.
