Nunnery Wood High School requires an inspiring teacher of Science to join our thriving school. The Science Department is looking for a well-qualified teacher to teach within a strong department in which achievement is exceptional and student engagement is excellent.

Nunnery Wood High School is oversubscribed and enjoys a strong reputation in the region. Staff and students enjoy school life and staff voice extremely high levels of satisfaction with working conditions and leadership of the school. Staff enjoy many benefits including a slightly lighter timetable than is common and a school gym.

Recent Ofsted inspections describe both results and student behaviour as significant strengths. Our intake is broad, from the academically gifted to students requiring nurturing in numeracy and literacy. We are ambitious for them all and share a deep conviction that they should all reach their potential with us.

Outcomes at GCSE have been consistently excellent in the Science Department. All teaching spaces are either new or refurbished with new screens and computers and there is a Science workroom.
