Nunnery Wood High School opened in 1954, although it was then known as Nunnery Wood Secondary School. It was renamed in 1983 at the time of secondary reorganisation in the City of Worcester. The School occupies an attractive, accessible site in a popular residential area on the edge of Worcester, surrounded by some 15 acres of gardens and playing fields which it shares with the adjacent Sixth Form College. The buildings have been adapted and augmented over the years to meet the changing needs of education in the twenty-first century. The school benefits from excellent facilities including several specifically built or refurbished areas including Science, English, Music, Art & Design, Languages and ICT Centres. The School also enjoys the use of the Sports Centre, the all-weather outdoor pitch and the athletics track. In total the School enjoys first class facilities and accommodation which provides excellent opportunities for all our students.
